Edinburgh Food Socials is where great food, great people, and community come together.We run relaxed, hands-on cooking classes led by experienced, friendly chefs who love sharing their skills in a down-to-earth, welcoming way. Whether you’re a total beginner or a confident home cook, you’ll feel supported, inspired, and well-fed.We’re not a cookery school that takes itself too seriously — we’re a social food project built around creating confidence in the kitchen and fostering a love of food. Our classes are designed to bring people together around the table: cooking, chatting, tasting, and enjoying the experience. Come solo, bring friends, or make it a date — everyone’s welcome.At the heart of Edinburgh Food Socials is our belief that good food should be for everyone. We want to make sure that everyone not only has access to Scotland's great produce but, crucially, knows what to do with it. That’s why we're a social enterprise and we always keep two free spaces in every class for people from our Craigmillar community who might not otherwise be able to afford to attend. We would love to host you in our kitchen for a private class. If there are at least 4 of you, then you can request a date for a class, and when possible, we will host a class on this date and time, but it will be opened up for other people to book onto. We need at least 6 people for the class to be fully private
