  • 5/5 from Nadine, attended May 2026: Had a really great time at the class. Trejayne was brilliant, assistants were brilliant. Trejayne explained everything clearly and made the whole process feel easy and relaxed. We got to make a practice bead first and then two different coloured beads. I also loved that we could choose either a gold or silver necklace to put our bead on at the end. A really nice touch was that they set up any spare beads so they could be swapped out, meaning you had a bit of flexibility if you preferred one bead over another for your necklace. Overall, it was such a fun experience and I’m really pleased with what I made. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to try something a bit different and come away with something unique that they’ve made themselves.
  • 5/5 from Ross McLachlan, attended May 2026: Wonderful class! Trejayne was a lovely and friendly teacher. It was a fantastic, fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!
  • 5/5 from Ailsa Hershaw, attended May 2026: I loved this workshop! Trejayne was a great teacher and provided the perfect level of guidance throughout. So satisfying to come away with a finished necklace! There was a small group and a relaxed atmosphere - tea/coffee and biscuits was a nice bonus. Overall I’d highly recommend this workshop and if there’s ever a part 2 I’d definitely attend another class with Trejayne.
  • 5/5 from Laura Jayne Smith, attended May 2026: The workshop was brilliant, Trejayne's instructions and demonstration were very clear and she was so lovely with her approach to teaching the class! I also felt very safe and everyone assisting amd the other participants were so friendly and approachable. It was a wholesome environment and experience all round. Thank you so much!
  • 5/5 from Elizabeth Charlotte Williams, attended May 2026: Genuinely such a lovely workshops, clear and supportive instructions and chats. Made to feel at home in the studio instantly with a cuppa and some yaps. The demo was so clear and helpful, an awesome variety of glass to choose from to make the perfect wee piece of jewlery to take home. Can't reccomend this enough
  • 5/5 from Elizabeth, attended May 2026: This was such a fun and chilled session! Trejayne was such an incredible instructor, walking through each step and making trying glass making for the first time so much fun. I came away with three really cool beads, and a beautiful necklace. Plus many cups of tea, biscuits and chats were had with the other members of the workshop. A big thanks to the whole team, who were all so lovely on the day - and I hope to catch another class in the future to have another go!
  • 5/5 from Jess Cadd, attended May 2026: What a wonderful way to spend an hour and a half - a lovely relaxed atmosphere and all the steps to make the glass beads were explained clearly. You were really patient with us and understood that whilst this is your craft, it is something completely new to us! Would highly recommend this class.
  • 5/5 from Julie, attended May 2026: Fantastic experience, the class was small so plenty interaction with a lovely group - what brilliant teacher Trejayne was - so patient & encouraging....and to learn how to make a glass bead & then come away with a bead necklace and two other beads we made in the class. Definitely recommend ️
  • 5/5 from Claire Giry, attended May 2026: I had so much fun learning a new skill. It was such a special occasion since glass making is not something one can easily gear up for. The workshop was very well thought through, and the teaching and cueing was perfect. Plus we got to choose our colours and I was able to match my bead with from a pair of earrings I got from you a while ago, so I now have a set Thank you for the fun memory and the pretty jewellery we got to make.
  • 5/5 from Esme Anderson, attended May 2026: Trejane's glass bead workshop was excellent. We started with some safety, then she gave a demonstration, before we had a chance to choose glass to work with and have a go ourselves. While I worked Trejane gave clear direction and was very encouraging. Andy and Maisie were great too, helping me turn one of the beads into a pendant for a necklace. It was such a fun and energetic start to a Saturday and I left wearing the beautiful beasts necklace I made. Thanks Trejane for a wonderful workshop!

Trejayne Glass Studio is a small family business based just outside Edinburgh and home to the glass artist Trejayne.
Over the past 4 years she has taught herself the art of Flameworking – a modern approach to glass blowing that uses a torch rather than a traditional furnace.
Since 2021, she started documenting her learning journey via social media and has gained an audience of over 2 million.
By sharing her honest experiences online, including her trials as well as her triumphs, she hopes to inspire a young generation to take up the dying craft and bring glass blowing back to a modern audience.
In 2025 Trejayne was granted a scholarship to the Corning Museum of Glass in New York where she honed her skills to new heights. Upon return to the studio she launched into her most successful project to date, AI defying food sculptures.
Now she wants to open the doors of her studio in West Linton to share the experience of flameworking with everyone. To host workshops for various projects showcasing the amazing versatility of glass as a medium.
