Make Your Own Everlasting Metal Wreath
Looking for a craft kit that’s a little different?
Discover the wonderfully tactile art of metal embossing and create your own beautiful three-dimensional metallic wreath at home with this complete beginner-friendly craft kit from The Art Doctor UK.
Rather than a traditional foliage wreath that lasts for one season, you’ll create an everlasting piece of handmade metallic wall art to bring out year after year, or display in your home all year round.
No previous metalwork, art or craft experience is needed. We’ll guide you through the process step by step with printed instructions and a full online video tutorial.
And when you buy directly from The Art Doctor, you’ll always get our best online price.
Everything You Need to Get Creative
Open your box and you’ll find the specialist materials and tools needed to create an approximately 14-inch finished wreath, including:
4 × A4 sheets of embossing metal, including a sheet for practising
Specialist metal embossing tools
A4 foam embossing mat
12″ rose-gold/copper-coloured wire wreath base
Specialist craft wire
Printed step-by-step instructions
Access to a guided online video tutorial
Compostable storage box
Plastic-free packaging
You’ll just need your own scissors.
Better still, the specialist embossing tools are yours to keep, so this kit doesn’t have to be the end of your metal-embossing experiments.
Never Tried Metal Embossing? Perfect.
This kit was specifically designed to make an unusual specialist technique accessible to complete beginners.
You’ll learn how to:
Create raised and recessed embossed designs
Add veins, marks, patterns and surface texture
Cut and shape individual metallic elements
Sculpt and manipulate metal
Work with craft wire
Layer individual elements
Plan a balanced wreath composition
Assemble your finished wreath
A practice sheet is included so you can experiment with the tools and techniques before beginning your final pieces.
There’s no need to be “good at art” and no drawing experience is required.
Make It Completely Your Own
There isn’t one wreath you’re expected to copy.
Create leaves, flowers, berries, botanical forms, stars, festive motifs or your own abstract designs.
You can even emboss family names, meaningful words, dates or messages into individual pieces to create a genuinely personal wreath.
Keep it minimal and contemporary, fill it with foliage, make it festive or create something designed to stay on your wall throughout the year.
Your box gives you the technique. You decide what your wreath becomes.
A Craft Kit That Becomes Something Worth Keeping
This is one of the things we particularly love about this project.
You’re not spending an afternoon making something that will be thrown away afterwards.
Your finished wreath becomes a substantial piece of handmade home décor that can be carefully stored and enjoyed again and again.
Our in-person metal wreath workshops have become one of The Art Doctor’s most distinctive creative experiences, with previous workshops selling out. We’ve taken the specialist techniques and translated them into a kit you can enjoy in your own home, at your own pace.

Make One Together – Craft Night Packages
Why make alone?
This project works brilliantly for a creative evening with friends, family, colleagues or a craft group.
If you need 5 or more kits, don’t purchase five individual kits at full price.
Choose our Craft Night package for 5+ makers and save.
Perfect for:
Friends’ craft nights • Christmas get-togethers • Hen parties • Team wellbeing • Community groups • Family gatherings • Creative clubs
I’d make that an actual button rather than an ordinary hyperlink.
Optional Heat-Colouring
If you’re working with a suitable heat-colourable metal, you can experiment with heat to create beautiful colour changes across the surface.
Heat equipment is not supplied with the kit and heat colouring is entirely optional.
Follow the safety guidance provided and use appropriate protective equipment. Children should not undertake this process.
This is an adult craft kit. Cut metal can have sharp edges. If used by younger people, close adult supervision is required.
For indoor display.
