  • 5/5 from Rita Bibby, attended Sep 2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our introduction to macrame. Our tutor, Bella, was so helpful and was able to adjust the class to meet the different abilities of the group. Dawn studios itself is an amazing space and to be there in great company learning a new craft was just the best treat ever. We made beautiful plant holders which we could take home. I would definitely recommend a trip to the studios to learn something new and meet new people - or even as a special event with friends. Thank you so much for a fabulous afternoon.

  • 5/5 from Hollie, attended Jan 2024: Had the most amazing time at Chelsie’s class. The vibes were immaculate and she’s such a nice energy to be around. I was worried I wouldn’t get into the class because I’m not typically a very crafty person but I was so wrong! I could have stayed here all night. I’d recommend this class to any and everyone. It’s so relaxing and really felt like I got a couple hours to just relax and enjoy myself trying something new. I’ll 100% be back!
  • 5/5 from Moreen Litha Banda, attended Jan 2024: Went with my best friend and we had a great time! Chelsie was super friendly and allowed everyone to create their pieces at their own pace, instead of feeling like we had to rush. She had all the snacks on deck, a variety of string colours to choose from and even gave us treats at the end of the session, which I really appreciate! Thankfully a card with a link to remind us the knot method was given and I can continue creating my Macrame at home! Might be a fun new hobby for me to keep trying out now too! We’re thinking of coming back for Chelsie’s pot making classes soon.So we look forward to that!

I'm Chelsie, a macrame maestro and all-round craft queen based in Manchester!
I found macrame during the pandemic when I needed something to calm my mind. I found so much mindfulness within the craft, and have since opened a creative studio where people come together to learn macrame and other crafts as a form of self care.
I'm passionate about sharing different ways to be creative; I don't believe that you have to be great (or even good!) at a craft to find joy and peace in it. The first step to being good at something is being bad at it!
