Hi, I'm Mimi—a handcrafted candle and soap artist from Hong Kong, now bringing the beauty of Korean-inspired candle making to the UK.

My creative journey didn't begin with candles—it began with a passion for creating beautiful experiences. After spending over 8 years in professional marketing, I learned how thoughtful design, storytelling, and attention to detail can turn ordinary moments into unforgettable memories.

That passion eventually led me to Taiwan, where I discovered the art of functional handmade soap making. What started as a creative hobby soon became a lifelong passion. I was fascinated by how simple, natural ingredients could be transformed into something both beautiful and meaningful—something that brings comfort, wellness, and joy to everyday life.

Eager to refine my skills, I continued my journey by training with renowned institutions across Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, and internationally, allowing me to blend traditional craftsmanship with modern Korean aesthetics.

Every workshop I design is more than a craft class—it's a creative escape.

Whether you're pouring your very first candle or exploring a new hobby, my workshops are designed to help you slow down, relax, and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something with your own hands. From realistic Korean dessert candles and elegant gel cocktail candles to beautifully scented soaps, each project is thoughtfully curated to be both enjoyable and rewarding.

My background in marketing also allows me to bring a unique perspective to every workshop. I don't simply teach techniques—I carefully design each experience, from the fragrances and colours to the styling and presentation, so that every participant leaves not only with a beautiful handmade creation, but also with memories they'll treasure.

I believe that handmade creations have a special kind of magic. They capture moments, express personality, and connect people in ways that mass-produced products never can.
