Millie Scott Studio was established in 2016 as a small slow fashion and homewares brand, focused on reusing pre-existing material to create luxury, ethical goods. Inspired by the ethical and slow fashion movement, Millie is passionate about craftsmanship, ethical business practises and sustainability.Millie has a BA Hons degree in Fashion Womenswear from Heriot-Watt University and has been working in the Fashion Industry for the last 6 years, working on bespoke projects with private clients as well as building her own brand where she designs and makes all of her own products, as well as offering an upcycling service for preloved furs. Millie is a preloved fur specialist, having taken on a self funded traineeship with ArnoldSeftor & Sons, the last furrier in Edinburgh. Millie provides a bespoke service where she works with clients to repair, restore and remodel their vintage items into contemporary pieces.After honing her leather working skills over the last decade, Millie wants to share the knowledge she has gathered to help people switch off from the noise of the world and tune into their own creativity.
