At Lavender Print School, we have always believed that in today's technology-focused world, there is a desire for people to re-connect with the hands-on methods of traditional arts and crafts.
This is why Lavender Print School is passionate about teaching printmaking in relief and intaglio methods, as well as art-based workshops in painting and drawing.
We also aim to be an encouraging and friendly space for all, which is why all classes are open to all levels of experience and artistic ability. Being a small school, we have a laid-back and supportive atmosphere, so whether you fancy coming alone or with friends, you're sure to feel welcome here!

We really enjoyed it
The teacher was lovely and had a clear plan for the class and gave clear instructions.It was enjoyable and we were impressed with the results.
The quality of the equipment was very good.

Eva our teacher was really great. She was very down to earth and made us all feel relaxed. She had wine glasses prepared and everything set out on the tables. She gave us a demonstration on different techniques we could use. As we were all new to water colour she made us feel comfortable to ask questions and gave us all a confidence boost. We all had such a great time. I would definitely recommend to others.

Really nice class. The teacher was very nice and good at explaining the basics. She was always around to answer questions, but the class was not intense or stressful.
The studio was a bit tricky to find and a bit far from the tube stations, but it was a really nice and artsy studio.
All materials were high quality, there was a great variety of high quality paper to make prints on.
5/5 would recommend

Eva was a fantastic teacher - such a friendly and encouraging environment to learn a new craft. She provided all of the materials so you really just have to turn up, relax and print!

We had a brilliant class with Ava on the theme of fungi - both complete beginners and she was extremely clear, helpful and gave tailored advice. Plenty of good materials provided and a really fun evening - thank you Ava!

The teacher Eva, was really helpful and knowledgeable and friendly, the venue was great, gave some good tips using watercolour, all materials provided, we painted a landscape this week. Would definitely go back, so enjoyable. Thank you for a great evening.

Great value for money. The teacher (Eva) was very friendly, professional and welcoming. She gave good instructions on how to do Lino printing but also let our creatively flow.

We absolutely loved our watercolour class on friday night. The teacher was so knowledgeable, clear at explaining the techniques and patient with us (there were only 4 of us total in the class) and it was a very relaxing, meditative 2 hours. We produced some reasonable landscapes!

The teacher was absolutely lovely! She was knowledgeable and helpful without being intrusive and facilitated a really lovely evening. I’m really proud of my finished piece which employed some new techniques I learnt on the night.

Such a fantastic evening with a brilliant and friendly teacher. Loved the class so much so that we have already booked a class for December! Great location, lovely atmosphere, good interaction and the time just flew! Would 10/10 recommend for any group of friends looking to have a fun evening doing something different - ideal for a work event, team-bonding, date night, hen do, baby shower etc!

Eva was fun and engaging. Learnt the basics of Watercolour , textures with brushes and moving pigmant around on the paper. The space is relaxed, clean, clear and has good light. All materials provided. Just bring your own wine(or tipple of choice) and a sense of exploration.
