What you'll do
Join Lavender Print School for this wonderful four-week printmaking course and discover a new hobby!
This special printmaking course is brilliant for beginners as well as those wanting to delve deeper into the world of printmaking.
During this printmaking course, you will learn:
- Both printmaking techniques: lino printing and drypoint.
- How to design and transfer an image.
- A range of mark-making techniques to use on your chosen design, using a variety of tools.
- Print using oil or water-based inks and understanding registration techniques.
- Learn how to push your print further with the Chine-collé technique.
- Print through our press ‘Olive’.
During this course, you will be taught by talented printmaker, Lorenzo. Lorenzo is passionate about sharing his love of printmaking with others — so be prepared to be inspired!
This course will take you on a printmaking journey where you will explore a range of techniques, build your confidence and create a whole host of special handmade prints.
By the end of the course, you'll not only have a fountain of new knowledge when it comes to printmaking but also your very own prints to take home and admire.

At Lavender Print School, we have always believed that in today's technology-focused world, there is a desire for people to re-connect with the hands-on methods of traditional arts and crafts.
