What you'll do
Join this Glasgow jewellery-making class and learn the magic of enamelling! You will learn how to add colour and pattern to metal, opening up a world of opportunities for design ideas.
There is plenty of time to experiment and you will create a finished piece using cold connections. Along the way, you'll be introduced to all sorts of basic jewellery-making techniques and get hands-on with the supplies.
This exciting workshop is your chance to experience the versatile medium of enamel as you learn how to make accessories that stands out from the jewellery box! Make test pieces, try out different colours, see how the firing process works, and then start your own project.
Your friendly and passionate teacher will be on hand to demonstrate any skills and support you with any questions you may have. It's a very relaxed and creative class that is open to everyone, even beginner crafters!
Leave with new skills and a beautiful piece of DIY jewellery to cherish. You'll also leave knowing you've helped out as all profits from classes with Vanilla Ink are invested into their amazing 'Making as a Form of Therapy' program which allows them to help out vulnerable, disadvantaged and/or deserving people by giving them the opportunity that would otherwise not be available to them.

What to bring
- Closed-toe shoes.
- Keep loose-fitting clothing to a minimum.
- Long hair tied up (or bring something to do so).
- If you need glasses to see things close up, please bring them with you. Making jewellery is fiddly!
