What you'll do
Calling all coffee lovers! Join us at our welcoming Porthleven cafe and learn the fundamentals for brewing great espresso at home in this beginner-friendly workshop.Guided by our passionate baristas, you'll learn all the coffee making basics from espresso recipes and grinder calibrations to extraction and milk texturing. This is an ideal workshop if you have a passion for coffee and want to expand your knowledge of the science of espresso extraction. The class will be taught in a casual, relaxed style designed for the home barista looking to take their skills to the next level. What we'll cover:
- Espresso recipe
- Grinder calibration
- Dose and yield
- Puck preparation
- Extraction
- Milk texturing
- Both dairy and milk alternatives are available to use on the day.
- You will be instructed using a La Marzocco Linea PB Espresso machine.
Knowledge required
