Ever wanted to learn some new skills in fabric upholstery or furniture restoration? Join experienced teacher Polly in her beautiful studio, where you will nurture your soul, switch off from the modern world, and enjoy an old artisan craft.

Throughout the five days you and a small group of four other like-minded people will learn many different new skills and building your confidence and creativity. You'll be learning about sewing, wood restoration, traditional and modern upholstery techniques.

Please bring your own piece of furniture you wish to restore and some fabric. You are welcome to get in touch with Polliander to discuss your project or any other questions you may have.

Guiding this exciting journey is Polly, an expert upholsterer with fourteen years of experience under her belt, as well as a family background in antiques and design. So whether you're a newbie or have some familiarity with furniture restoration, you can be sure you're in good hands as you pick up some tips and tricks.

You'll be spending your five days in our beautiful studio, in a renovated old Chapel. We keep things low-tech, so there is no internet, but there is plenty of friendly support, our resident dog Toby and lovely views, so it's not all bad!

By the end of this thrilling restoration course, you will be going home feeling creatively satisfied with a fun new hobby and in love with a gorgeous piece of furniture.

Please note: Not included are any materials used. If you do use any from our studio, they will be costed by weight or by the meter. Amounts used are noted and paid for at the end of the course.
