  • 4/5 from Kamaljit Khondo, attended Jun 2026: The session was really good with lots of chances to throw the clay. I made 6 pieces in total some collapsed but it was great to be allowed to experiment. Just woukd have likes some detail on how to get into the building and direction inside as its quite the maze. Overall well worth it as the glazing and finish is done after by the studio and you can puck up pieces in approx 4 weeks so no additional class necessary.

  • 5/5 from Aaliyah K, attended Nov 2025: I had such an amazing time! Even though this was a taster session, I learned so much in a short amount of time and had a decent amount of time to create at least 5 objects. Will definitely recommend!

  • 5/5 from Abbie Bull, attended Oct 2025: Was a lot of fun and relaxing! I would definelty come back again! Thank you
  • 5/5 from Joanne Craddock, attended Sep 2025: Absolutely fantastic class - I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my birthday. Our instructor was so lovely and incredibly helpful and did a fantastic demonstration at the beginning. I also liked how we were given the freedom to work out how to sculpt the clay ourselves, and she came round and helped us when we got stuck. Everyone got to keep 2 pieces but they let me keep 3 because it was my birthday which was a really nice touch. I’m so excited to see our finish products once they’ve been glazed and fired in a few weeks!
  • 5/5 from Deb White, attended Sep 2025: It was very easy to redeem the gift voucher and book a class. We arrived too early but we started immediately. We were given a quick demo & then encouraged to make as many items as we wished. Very good teacher, knowledgable & friendly. Would fully recommend.
  • 5/5 from Steph Chan, attended Aug 2025: Really enjoyed the wheel throwing taster workshop with Adrianne. She was very patient, gave lots of tips but also let you get on with your own work. I made 6 pieces and chose 2 pieces for glazing (included in cost). Can’t wait to collect them and will definitely return for a course!
  • 5/5 from Joanna Cherian, attended Jul 2025: Loved to vibe of the studio, and the team was very welcoming. The teacher taught me to my level and was attentive when I needed support. I managed to produce 5 pieces. I definitely recommend for all levels! :)
  • 5/5 from Francisca Navarro, attended Jul 2025: I learned to throw the pottery and the basics of shaping it into a small piece. It was my first time trying the wheel and I must say that with the guidance of our teacher it was “easy” to explore and learn at the same time, knowing that if I made any mistakes she could help stabilise my piece again. I made 5 pieces in the 2hr class. When describing this experience to my boyfriend the words I used were “the best day of my life”. Definitely worth the price.
  • 5/5 from Melody Mwangi, attended Jul 2025: My partner and I attended this pottery class and had such a wonderful time! The instructor was patient and encouraging, and it was really relaxing and fun to get creative together. Highly recommend for couples looking for something different and meaningful to do.
  • 5/5 from Naomi Purcell, attended Jul 2025: I bought this Landwave Pottery Throwing class as a birthday present for a friend. There were three of us and we had the instructor to ourselves. She was very patient and explained things well, helping us when required, but also allowing us to be independent. We made about five pieces and were allowed to choose and keep two, which were included in the price. If you wanted more, then it was £10 extra per piece. It is harder than you may think, requiring strength in your hands. The aprons cover clothes minimally, so wear something that you don't mind getting splashed! My friend was quite messy!! Stools could do with a little cushion for comfort. The instructor was very conversive and took pictures for us whilst we were pottery throwing to help make the experience memorable. I have not seen the final pottery pieces yet as they need to be fired and an arrangement to collect at a later date has to be made.
  • 5/5 from Elsie, attended Jul 2025: This was my second time attending the class and it was just as amazing as the first. Adrian is lovely and so helpful, I would definitely recommend this for everyone to try!
  • 5/5 from Sumit Irachande, attended Jun 2025: Was a great day took my partner here for her birthday. The staff were great and very helpful and we're able to relax and create our own pots. Really learnt alot about how to actually create pottery. A nice intro at the start and we're straight into making our own. Would recommend this class to anyone looking to try something new or even build on existing skills. Very good value for money too
