  • 5/5 from Kirsty Willcocks, attended Feb 2025: We had such a wonderful evening last night, making our giant wool blankets. Nessa was a great teacher and patient too! It’s a lovely item to come away with and super fun to do. I went with a friend, which was fun to share, but there were others there on their own. So it is a great option whatever your set up. Thanks Jane and Nessa.
  • 5/5 from Anna Plesinska, attended Dec 2023: I had so much fun during this class! Everything was provided(including coffee and cupcakes). The venue is lovely and cozy. Nessa was very friendly and helpful.️
  • 5/5 from Riley Forson, attended Feb 2023: My mum and I had a fantastic time making giant arm knitted blankets! Our teacher was kind and patient and our vegan yarn was so soft and wonderful. We managed to make our blankets in an hour and have been inspired to try to make another by ourselves! Even our cat loves our blankets!
  • 4/5 from Marita Tjolle, attended Feb 2023: My sister and I took our mum to the arm knitting class for her birthday. It was a fun and enjoyable session which we would now feel confident making a blanket at home. The not so good bits were 1) we booked the course through a third party and this cost us more, I wouldn’t have known this except ClassBento sent a receipt for less money than I paid, which was kind of annoying to know I could have paid less 2) A few of the wool colours weren't available, leaving me needing to select my third choice of colour for the blanket. Mum chose hot pink which when delivered was pale pink and she needed to selected another colour a couple of days before the course. If you are flexible with what colour or where you are going to put the blanket that’s ok but otherwise may leave you with a blanket that doesn’t fit your colour scheme. 3) The detailed email with all the information on didn’t get sent until the day before the session at 3.40pm and advised a time extension of 30mins which meant our return train time was tighter than we would have liked. The email would have been better sent earlier in the week allowing you to plan your day. All in all the day was fun and we had a lovely day together. Nessa who ran the course was friendly and helpful keeping us all on track to produce a beautiful blanket.
  • 5/5 from Francesca Julien, attended Oct 2022: I found this class great. The teacher was great and explained everything really well. Te venue was a bit and to find but I called and it was just around the corner and inside the workshop was so nice and inviting. I would defo recommend this class and possibly do a more complex class next time, I have already knitted another blanket

Hey, I’m Jane, and I’m obsessed with all things crafty! If it involves glue, yarn, paint, or paper—chances are, I’ve tried it. I started Tea and Crafting back in 2009 as a cosy, welcoming workshop space in Covent Garden because I wanted to share my love of crafting with everyone.
I totally get that life is busy, so I made it my mission to offer fun, relaxed, and totally doable craft workshops—no six-week commitment required! Just pop in, get creative, and walk away with something amazing (even if you think you're “not crafty”).
Fast forward 12 years, and I’m still here, sharing the magic of making alongside a fantastic team of expert crafters. Because honestly? Crafting isn’t just about being good at it—it’s about the joy, the creativity, and that unbeatable feel-good factor. So, come craft with us! ️
