Unguided Free Flow Painting Workshop

Free flow painting session in London – no instructor, all materials included

2 hours

Class size 1 to 25 (public classes), 8 to 70

£18 - £20 (£18 for Weekdays; £20 for Weekend. £18 per class surcharge applies for private classes)

Grab a brush and let loose in this relaxed, unguided painting session in Battersea, where the canvas is entirely yours to fill. There's no instructor here – just a creative space, all the materials you need, and as much time as you like to paint your way.
You'll have up to two hours of studio time to get stuck in, with everything provided: acrylic paints, brushes, palette knives, pencils and an apron to keep you mess-free. Choose your surface – a standard or X-large canvas, or a 23cm bear painted with brushes – and take inspiration from the artwork filling the studio, or simply paint whatever's on your mind.
This is a low-pressure, self-led session made for first-timers and seasoned painters alike, whether you come with friends or fly solo. Settle in with something from the full bar – coffee, soft drinks, wine, beer or cocktails – and grab a pizza or snack while you paint, making it as social or as switch-off-and-focus as you'd like.
By the end, you'll walk away with a one-of-a-kind piece that's entirely your own, plus a genuinely feel-good couple of hours spent creating at your own pace.

  • This is an unguided session (no instructor)

Art Play London
Art Play London

4.8 (3,223)

Art Play London was founded by Silva Castellani in 2018, starting in galleries such as Phillips, and pop up venues around London.
Art Play is now a new art studio which opened in East London in February 2022, where children and adults of all ages are free to release their imaginations and inner creativity.
Art Play has a strong focus and the environment and aims to educate children and adults on their environmental impact through art, using a variety of sustainable mediums and materials.
Art Play is part of the worldwide Precious Plastic community which means it will be a plastic collection point for people to drop off their HDPE plastic which would otherwise end up in landfills or the ocean. The plastic is then shredding and melted and turned into useful objects and pieces of art, such as plant pots and coasters.
