The teacher had laid out everything that we could have needed for our embroidery masterpiece. My only criticism is that I wish there were actually more teaching involved. She pretty much left us to our own devices, and although was very helpful when we had specific questions, the class could have benefited from a bit of structure and direction, even if just for the first half hour or so to show us the basic types of stitches before sending us on our way. Still, a lovely morning's activity.

The space was comfortable and full of inspiring crafty things, and our instructor had a great way of explaining & demonstrating different stitches and techniques. She was very attentive to everyone and was able to give plenty of 1-2-1 instruction during the session as well. The length of the session meant there was no rush even if embroidery is quite a slow process. Would definitely go back for another session, or look at the other courses they have!

It felt like the time flew by, and it was great to have a piece to take home with me, and the understanding of what I could do to finish the last few bits! I definitely hope to take more classes with MYO!

She provided us with material and was really patient and encouraging no matter the times I struggle to thread the needle (which were a lot). She made me feel comfortable and empowered to continue working on this at home. I suffer from anxiety and work is being stressful at the moment. I needed a break and this evening embroidering with Sarah was just the perfect plan. She is also very knowledgeable about mindfulness and wellbeing so her chats and advice helped me a lot. The evening passed by so quickly because we were really enjoying it. Thanks Sarah!

We had such a good time, Sienna gave really clear instructions and support throughout, all with a smile and love for embroidery! We will definitely be visiting MYO again!!

Plenty of supplies available to use, lots of references images & a really calming atmosphere that is reminiscent of a school art class, pretty nostalgic. Sienna was very kind in allowing the class to take away some extra material to encourage us to complete our projects in our own time. This was a wonderful experience and would love to embark on another (once i have practiced this for some time).

I went by myself so was a little nervous but everybody was so friendly and the whole group were chatting all evening. Our teacher Charlie was brilliant - so funny and helpful and made it possible for all of us to embroider the design we wanted..: even though some of the learners had quite ambitious ideas!! MYO is a great venue to be in, and you can see all the crafty bits displayed so Im already planning what my next class will be!
