What you'll do

Come along and choose an image or text (or bring one with you) and learn how to transfer it to fabric using some simple but effective stitches. You will then be shown how to add fabric for extra colour, creating a completely unique piece of art. Beginner? This fun and friendly class is perfect for anyone wanting to learn new skills and gain hand embroidery skills they can use again and again! Your teacher will guide you through your first stitches, helping you get to know how best to use your needle and thread. Along the way, you'll learn back stitch, satin stitch, and if you feel comfortable with those, you'll move on to chain stitch and french knots.During this soothing craft class, you will be able to relax and unwind while experiencing the proven mindfulness benefits of getting creative. Sip on a tipple as you craft something truly beautiful – what's not to like? By the end of the class, you'll have a gorgeous wall hanging to call your own and some newfound embroidery skills.
