Once you're happy with your creation, take it home with pride — a unique piece to remember the good times (and maybe your hidden talent!).

If you're looking for fun ways to tap into your creativity, Finsbury Park Painting Club invites you to our sip and paint. Come with a friend or come to make friends, this studio is a chilled and fun creative space. You do not need to have any painting skills - our session welcomes all levels of painting.

In each session you will be provided with an array of images to choose from which you can follow, or just do your own thing. At the workshop you will be encouraged to discover your own painting style!

All materials are provided - canvas, easels, acrylic paint and brushes. Once the class is over, you can take your painting home with you.

Some sweet treats, herbal teas and water is provided but you can also BYOB and any snacks you fancy, making this a brilliant place to relax, bring a friend and enjoy some creative downtime.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a formal painting class, it is a social sip and paint. Our team of artists are always happy to provided guidance, if you need it.

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 4 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the session; if that happens, we'll inform you and let you choose between a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

I used one of the artwork examples as inspiration and built on it to create my own piece, which was easily my favourite part of the experience. It was great being able to work at my own pace in a calm, relaxed environment, and guided self-instruction worked really well for me to experiment with new techniques and bring my own idea to life.

Private room, we played our own music brought our own alcohol and snacks, even got a chance to decorate the room a lil with some bunting. Camilla was taking care of us, she was so lovely and helpful when it came to picking out our colours and painting. Felt very safe and guided throughout the session. We did our own thing, but also had support there if we needed it. Would definitely be coming back and 100% recommend for a group outing!! Birthday, Hen do, or just a nice weekend activity!! Our teacher Mel helped us throughout the class. At times I thought my painting wasn’t going to turn out the way I’d hoped, but Mel kept encouraging and guiding me. As soon as we arrived and were greeted by Melanie I instantly knew we were in great hands. Lovely atmosphere which was really relaxed. Bring a bottle (& snacks) worked super well. Melanie was patient, engaging, fun & completely non judgemental of those of us who aren’t natural artists!! Some of the work we created was awesome thanks to Melanie’s guidance. She was also so quick to offer to take some photos so we could all be engrossed in the activity which was so helpful. If you’re looking for something fun to do as an activity for a hen do/birthday and want a relaxed but fun vibe, I’d really recommend Finsbury Park Painting Club!

Really nice atmosphere, including nice lighting, the canvasses were all set up when we arrived, along with lots of inspo paintings, lots of paints to choose from, and a great and clear system for use. The teacher was lovely, warm and welcoming, giving a good amount of support and instruction whilst still allowing you to get on with your painting and enjoy your evening. Would definitely go back and do the class again!

I would definitely recommend. The studio was well resourced with lots of images for inspiration and a good range of painting materials to choose from. We particularly liked being able to make our own decisions about what we wanted to paint, helped by our lovely teacher Maia.

It was a spur-of-the-moment purchase for a date night and we weren't sure what to expect but our host Maia was very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. They had images as inspiration and we ende dup having no problems at all to come up with what to paint. Everything you need to paint is included, and there's a huge variety of paints and brushes. Would highly recommend, especially for newbies!

The teacher was fantastic – she moved around the room, helping everyone individually, offering helpful tips and taking the time to look at each piece of work. She was so encouraging and made everyone feel comfortable, no matter their ability. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and creative, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Maya, our teacher, was incredibly friendly and sweet, and she was always there to help whenever we needed anything. She made everyone feel comfortable and supported throughout the session. I would definitely recommend coming here — whether as a solo date or with a group. A really enjoyable experience!
