The whole Tea & Crafting team is crochet obsessed, and we're always looking for our next project! So you know you're in good hands.
This beginner-friendly crochet workshop is the perfect place to start your crochet journey. You'll learn how to create chain stitches and master one of the most popular crochet stitches: the treble crochet (known as the double crochet in US terminology).
To make sure everyone receives plenty of support, as we have both children and adults in these sessions, we'll have two experienced tutors teaching throughout the workshop - which is a unique opportunity as it gives us a small ratio of just 1 tutor to every 4 participants, so you'll benefit from lots of individual guidance, making this excellent value and a wonderful way to learn a new skill with confidence.
You'll take home your hook and some wool to keep practicing at home too.
What you'll get
  • Crochet hook
  • Yarn
Knowledge required
Nothing at all - we start from the beginning

Hey, I’m Jane, and I’m obsessed with all things crafty! If it involves glue, yarn, paint, or paper—chances are, I’ve tried it. I started Tea and Crafting back in 2009 as a cosy, welcoming workshop space in Covent Garden because I wanted to share my love of crafting with everyone.
I totally get that life is busy, so I made it my mission to offer fun, relaxed, and totally doable craft workshops—no six-week commitment required! Just pop in, get creative, and walk away with something amazing (even if you think you're “not crafty”).
Fast forward 12 years, and I’m still here, sharing the magic of making alongside a fantastic team of expert crafters. Because honestly? Crafting isn’t just about being good at it—it’s about the joy, the creativity, and that unbeatable feel-good factor. So, come craft with us! ️
