Knowledge required
The workshop doesn’t require any prior skills, just an open mind and a desire to explore your creative side!
What to bring
- Come dressed to get messy – paint may not wash out so wear old clothes that are comfortable and you don’t mind messing up!
- If you have any items that inspire you, words, pictures, music, jewellery, photos, or colours, please feel free to bring them along, you may want to incorporate them in some way (this is not essential though!).

Your teacher
I am Kate Mayer, a self-taught professional artist based in East London. I have always been creative but for most of my career I have been a designer. Whilst I did enjoy it, I felt like I was supressing my true self, and facilitating other people’s visions rather than my own. After my seperating from my partner of 19 years I began a journey of self-discovery and self-expression which led me to start painting my own work as well as helping other people to connect to their inner selves through art.My work is very intuitive and I find my inspiration through meditation, music and a sense of connection and flow. I’m passionate about helping other people to be the best they can be by having the freedom of self-expression. I believe we are all born creative and when we can let go and play we are able to find true joy through our creative side. I am here to provide a safe space for you to explore and have fun!
