I am Kate Mayer, a self-taught professional artist based in East London. I have always been creative but for most of my career I have been a designer. Whilst I did enjoy it, I felt like I was supressing my true self, and facilitating other people’s visions rather than my own. After my seperating from my partner of 19 years I began a journey of self-discovery and self-expression which led me to start painting my own work as well as helping other people to connect to their inner selves through art.
My work is very intuitive and I find my inspiration through meditation, music and a sense of connection and flow. I’m passionate about helping other people to be the best they can be by having the freedom of self-expression.
I believe we are all born creative and when we can let go and play we are able to find true joy through our creative side. I am here to provide a safe space for you to explore and have fun!

The class was amazing so deeply diving into the emotions. The class was firstly led by Kate with meditation which was amazing it allowed Us to set a clear intention for the painting. Kate was amazing with ideas and so many tools where provided. We enjoyed each part of the class and time spent together means a lot to have a space for exploring emotions that went into this experience. Kate is amazing very in touch with the People She is with.
