What you'll do
Come along and learn how to saw, solder, form, and texture your own silver ring from scratch! In this jewellery making workshop in St. Andrews, you will create a wide silver band in your choice of finishing textures.You don't need any experience to join -- you'll be guided every step of the way! The workshop offers a delightful activity for individuals or a group of friends looking to learn, socialise, and craft beautiful jewellery to cherish.What to expect:
- Enjoy a demonstration before learning how to measure, texture, form and solder your band.
- Go through all instructions and information about professional jewellery making tools!
- Try your hand at using a handheld blowtorch and other tools.
- Measure your finger, saw and shape the ring ready for soldering.
- Lean the rings and form them into a true ring shape, and add your chosen texture!
- Scrub and polish the rings, ready to take home!
