  • 5/5 from Jemma, attended Aug 2026: Holly was my teacher for the session & luckily it was just me for the day! Holly was very patient with me, making sure I understood a stitch and could practise before moving onto the next stitch. Lovely friendly and chilled atmosphere, which I appreciated! Left the session much more knowledge with the basics & feeling keen to practise & learn more! A big thank you to Holly!
  • 5/5 from Bridget Penny, attended Jul 2026: I really enjoyed the class. It was brilliantly taught at a good rate. Explained and helped with care not made to feel silly. Was the appropriate number of pupils.
  • 5/5 from Fiona Milton, attended Jul 2026: Good teacher and support to get started with crochet! My daughter was really pleased.Thank you!
  • 2/5 from Kate Phillpotts, attended Apr 2026: I’m left handed. Tutor did not know how to teach someone who is left handed to crochet a square. A lot of the session I was making chains, found this hard, as everyone else was making their squares and I making chains
  • 5/5 from Marianne Kellow, attended Mar 2026: Excellent teacher, clear instructions and helped at each step. We learned all the basics of crocheting and had an instructional leaflet to take home. Comfortable atmosphere conducive to learning. All equipment supplied. Thank you Holly for a super couple of hours!
  • 5/5 from Jemima Hawkins, attended Mar 2026: Holly was a brilliant teacher, she was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. She really took the time to help me out when I got stuck (which happened several times!) demonstrating and explaining things over & over until I felt comfortable & more confident. It was helpful to get a hand out to remind me of the techniques when I practice at home. It was also great to have options depending on your experience/ confidence, and to see some examples of what can be made using the stitches we were taught. Thank you very much Holly!

  • 4/5 from Rebecca Macham, attended Jul 2025: The teacher was great, very knowledgeable and had a great way of explaining the steps and helping us all out in turn, she was very engaging. Could not fault her teaching at all but the class was a bit disorganised. This seemed to be an issue with the store rather than the teacher as resources were not organised in advance. I really enjoyed the class and came away knowing how to chain, double crochet and triple crochet and have since built on those skills independently! Would recommend!
