Yoga Class - Drop In

Beginner level Hatha yoga course.

1 hour Class size 1 to 5 guests       £8

In this gentle yoga class, you'll learn foundational poses and essential relaxation techniques that form the cornerstone of a nurturing yoga practise. Under the expert guidance of Leah, a British Wheel of Yoga registered teacher, you'll discover how to move mindfully and breathe effectively, developing skills you can incorporate into your daily life.
If you've been curious about starting yoga but felt unsure about joining a regular class, this welcoming class (please note break 30th March-13th April) provides the perfect introduction. The peaceful atmosphere of Art4Space's beautiful studio in Stockwell creates an ideal environment for beginning your yoga journey, whilst the gated community setting ensures a sense of security and calm.
During this nurturing activity, you'll learn how to flow through basic poses with proper alignment, explore different stretching techniques, and experience the profound benefits of conscious relaxation. Each movement and technique is carefully explained and demonstrated, allowing you to build confidence at your own pace. There's something wonderfully calming about practicing yoga in a light-filled studio space—you'll find yourself naturally unwinding as you become more familiar with each pose.
By the end, you'll have gained a solid foundation in yoga basics and discovered techniques for bringing more balance and flexibility into your life. The skills you learn will give you the confidence to continue your yoga practise, whether at home or in regular classes, opening up a path to improved wellbeing and physical awareness.
Proceeds go towards our community art projects, providing mental well-being and creative health, especially for those facing barriers.
