There is a trained artist living in East London with many years' experience of working in top London contemporary art galleries. She is an all-round creative person with a huge passion for art and spends much of her free time checking out the latest art shows.

As a young art student, Tere would visit the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square to learn from the great masters and get inspiration. This is still one of her favourite galleries. She has been leading private art tours at the National Gallery and Tate Modern for 4 years. When you take a tour with Tere, you will see art through the eyes of an artist, really learn to see what you are looking at, and get a new perspective.

This tour is specifically about seeing major artworks from the early Renaissance through to Impressionism and contemporary art in the 21st Century. So, you will spend time in the National Gallery and then head to the Tate Modern to get a story of artists through the ages in this fun and informative tour with a passionate art lover!

As we had been to the Tate Modern several times, we actually decided to stay at the National Gallery for our whole 4-hour session. Tere isso knowledgeable about the many influential European artists from the Medieval, Reinassance, and Impressionist eras. We paused at many of the paintings and spent time discussing details or themes that we saw and also recalled how some of these motifs might've appeared in earlier paintings that, which really threaded the whole afternoon together like a continuous story. We highly recommend having a tour with Tere!

We are Londoners and love our city and where we live, which is on a cute houseboat in a fantastic, friendly and creative East London community. Colin is a full-time artist and shows his art regularly in London and at international art fairs while Tere studied art at the renowned Goldsmiths College and then worked for over 14 years in contemporary art galleries and design studios in London.
