What you'll do
Join us for an engaging two-part T-shirt Yarn Macrame workshop at The Ministry, where creativity meets sustainability! In this hands-on session, participants will learn how to transform old T-shirts into beautiful, eco-friendly yarn and craft elegant macrame pieces such as plant hangers, lanterns, and stylish bottle bags.Upon arrival at 6:00pm, you will be warmly welcomed by our friendly reception team and guided to your designated workshop space. At 6:15pm, participants for the first activity will begin making plant hangers or lanterns, exploring various macrame techniques and discovering tips for creating stunning designs. As if that wasn't enough, guests will be granted access to The Ministry's Bar and Garden during their visit to enjoy the beats of Ministry of Sound's DJs and connect with fellow guests before and after the workshop.Come solo, bring a friend, or schedule a private group workshop of your choice. Let's craft, create and connect. We believe that creating and learning new things in the company of others is a really beautiful and powerful combination.NOTE: If you weren't able to attend previous workshops, in many cases, we've created kits for you to take home and create with full instructions and ingredients included. These can be purchased in the Extras section below to ensure that we have your desired kit on hand for you to take home at the end of this workshop.

All of our workshops are open to everyone new to this skill/technique.
What to bring
There is nothing that you need to bring apart from your willingness to learn, create, and connect. That said, as this workshop is all about upcycling, you are welcome to add to our collection of upcycled goods for the evening and ensure that our things get a second (or third) life.
