Join a Hobbycraft Colleague one-to-one and ask any questions you have about your Cricut machine! Stuck on a project? Need help with Design Space? Trying to get to grips with using a new material? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for all Cricut users, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need about your machine. Whether you’re crafting with a Maker, a Joy, Joy Xtra or an Explore machine, you’ll be able to get excellent insight for all kinds of projects. It’s a great way to get a feel for your new machine or learn about features you’re not as confident with yet.
During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Hobbycraft Colleague know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.
You’re sure to walk away a Cricut crafting pro, ready to start making your next big project!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Please note: If you would like to discuss the Foil Transfer Tool, Knife Blade, “Print Then Cut” feature, “Curved Text” feature or “Offset” we would recommend that you book on to one of our online one-to-one Cricut workshop sessions as we are currently unable to demonstrate these features in-store due to them being for the desktop version of Design Space only.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 5/5 from Carol McGrath, attended Oct 2026: Workshop with Natasha at Hobbycraft, Crownpoint Leeds. It was brilliant! Natasha was so kind and made me feel very welcome. I learnt loads about how to use cricut with a good few tips along the way. I 100% recommend Natasha as Cricut teacher.
  • 5/5 from Nora Medgyesi, attended Oct 2026: It was a brilliant workshop. I have learnt how to use the machine and the different options available for me to utilise it in my business. My teacher was lovely and we had a great time. This workshop gave me ideas I can try in the future and reassured me that buying this machine was the right decision.
  • 5/5 from Lorna Stephen, attended Oct 2026: I booked the CriCut tutorial at the Inverness store so I could learn how to use a Joy machine for work and home projects. Demi, the instructor, was lovely and very informative. They showed me how to use the App to create window decals and iron on transfers. This demo was relative to using the machine to make other crafts too and was super helpful. I would definitely recommend booking the instore demos. I am a physical learner so watching videos online doesn’t always make it click for me. I will keep an eye out for future presentations instore.

She was absolutely brilliant with me as a complete beginner, and now I feel confident enough to start working on my first projects. Kate is incredibly knowledgeable and patient, and she took the time to answer all my questions. I’ve learned so much from her and feel much more confident using my Cricut Maker 3. I would highly recommend Kate to anyone who wants to learn more about their machine, whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to develop your skills further. Thank you so much, Kate, for such a wonderful experience!

I have to say Jenny was very helpful in the information she was sharing with me and she was easy to talk to, about the circut Joy in how. I learned about the diffenent project i could do. I would have been nice to use the equitment not just look at a screen, so a small project would of been nice to do in the lesson
  • 5/5 from Erica, attended Sep 2026: Chrissie is a superstar!!! I have 3 Hobbycraft branches which are closer and more convenient to me to travel to but wanted to tap into Chrissie’s knowledge. I attended the 6 week Cricut online course more than 3 years ago and was so impressed with Chrissie’s knowledge and made a mental note that she worked at Southampton. I was not disappointed. Chrissie totally understood what I wanted to achieve and was as excited as I am regarding my project. Chrissie is a huge asset to your team.
  • 5/5 from Charlotte Enderby-Ryall, attended Sep 2026: A friend bought me this class as a gift. There was initially some confusion as the gift voucher was for another store that no longer does classes, but having sorted out getting the voucher transferred to Exeter it was all very straightforward. Molly greeted me at the front of the store and was very friendly and welcoming. She is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about crafting, and was really helpful about steering me through the confusing world of Cricut design space and products. Although we only had an hour we packed a lot in, from Design Space tips, card cutting, scoring, layouts, SVGs, and HTV process. I’ve come home fired up and excited to get stuck in with some fun creating
  • 4/5 from Ikki Bhogal, attended Sep 2026: The class was good but felt there wasn’t enough time, maybe the session should be an hour and a half. There was a lot to take in. The tutor was good she knew her stuff.
  • 4/5 from Bianca Mater, attended Sep 2026: Chloe was able to guide me through the basics and show me a few potential projects. Would have been useful to print out the project just for completion.
  • 4/5 from Sammie Bennett, attended Sep 2026: Kirsty was friendly and helpful. The Cricut machine needed calibration so was not behaving 100% as it should on some projects. Kirsty answed all my questions and helped me find the products I wanted to purchase in store. Useful for first time users even just to talk through things as there are always things you wont know.
  • 4/5 from Colin McCall, attended Sep 2026: We had two teachers, Olivia was really good and my wife really enjoyed her class and learnt a great deal. I don't know the name of the other lady but she was late in attending and kept looking to other customers during the lesson. She scrolled very fast on her phone and was distracted when telling me how to do it. Her demonstration was poor and failed. She also said we have gone over time and quickly went even she did not give her full attention to the lesson.
