All Day Jewellery Class for Beginners

In this one-day class, we will introduce you to the basics of making silver jewellery.You will learn how to saw, solder, form, and texture your silver and apply these techniques to make a set of jewellery from simple hammered rings to earrings and a pendant. You can choose what you would like to create or copy from our samples. Bring a notebook!In the morning, we will start with making a set of simple skinny and narrow ring bands. In the afternoon, we will go on to learn how to work from silver sheet to create a small pendant and/or earrings or a small design element to add to your rings.The perfect class for an individual or a group of friends to come and learn, socialise and most importantly, to make some jewellery to take home!The workshop will run between 10am-12.30pm (Lunch break) 1.30pm-4.30pm.There are cafes and a sandwich shop just below the studio on South Streets West Port.All materials, including silver for simple pieces, will be included.Please note that this class will need 4 people to run. If the class is under-subscribed, the studio reserves the right to reschedule. You will be notified at least 4 days before the class if the class cannot run and will have the option to be refunded in this instance.
