Me and Zoey are inspired by traditional Chinese traditional jewellery techniques, reinterpreting its concept of inheritance and apprenticeship, to bring its authentication and delicacy in the process of making with creativity.

We cherish these vanishing art forms and strive to pass them on more effectively. We develop various workshops to spread the specialised skills to the local community and narrow the distance between Chinese craftsmanship culture and contemporary jewellery practice.

Had a fantastic session with Zoey and the team, informative and ended up making a great pendent for a necklace. Can giggly recommend for anyone who wants an introduction to enamelled jewlery.

This was a gift. Ray was great and we really enjoyed it. We came away with lovely pieces of jewellery! Thank you!
Top tip - bring your glasses if you need them - it’s tiny work!

Was a really cute idea. We ran overtime because there wasn’t enough baking pods so had to wait. The colours didn’t come out as seen on the chart and the explanation of what we had to do wasn’t great. Was a bit left in the dark and they didn’t have the pattern we wanted although it was an example.

Teacher's response

Thanks for the feedback! We apologies for the longer process and the shape that got sold out! Thanks for the patience and great design idea. We did inform everyone that warm colors melt in low temperatures and there’s risk for red colors to show differently. So we had to lower the kiln temperature for your design and wait for it to cool down since you guys chose the warmest (most difficult) color of all which is the Opaque Red. We still encourage people to do risky colors although enameling is a very fragile technique! Hope you still enjoyed the process! We’ll try our best to improve the results:)
