I set up Flour Baby Bakery in 2020. I had always baked a lot at home, and when lockdown hit, like many people, I was baking non-stop! Friends encouraged me to sell my cakes, so I did exactly that. I have been very busy since then with wedding and birthday cake orders, running market stalls, catering for events, supplying cafes and restaurants and teaching baking.
My work has caught the attention of TV production companies, high profile clients and companies, and featured in magazines.
I have taught baking at professional level, leading a 6 month baking course that covered pastry, cakes and traybakes, bread and desserts. I also run private and group classes. I love to pass on skills, tips, knowledge and watch people become passionate and confident in their baking skills!
I recently trained at Ballymaloe cookery school, a renowned Irish school on a 100 acre organic farm. This boosted my knowledge and kitchen skills and gave me a deeper understanding of working with sustainable, natural ingredients.
