David was a very warm and likeable tutor who moved us seamlessly through the stages. I learnt how to use some power tools - a great confidence booster and would comfortable tackling a similar project by hand in the future.

I liked that the teacher taught us how to use tools and trusted us to use them independently, correcting us whenever we were not using them the best possible way. We built a big planter out of pallets, I was happy to use materials that would have been otherwise wasted. The teacher was really really passionate.

The teacher was very friendly and helpful - taking time with each member of the group and creating a good atmosphere. It’s a great intro class if you’re interested in the other classes available and making something useful for the garden. Highly recommend
