Half-term fun is sorted! Join us for a family-friendly hand-building pottery class in London, where children and their grown-ups can get creative and make spooky bat candle holders, ghosts, pumpkins and much more. Over two relaxed hours, an experienced instructor will show you different techniques and offer advice on bringing your projects to life. Once you've finished, you can paint your creations after a blast with our dryers.
It's a great family activity where everyone works together to plan and discuss projects, see them come to life and, more importantly, create lasting memories. Suitable for ages five and up, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The advertised price is per child. If you'd like to make your own creation too, you'll need to book a space for yourself.
Once your piece is made, it'll stay with us at the studio for up to six weeks while it goes through two firings in our kiln.
Location: Unit 1.3, 10 Monro Way, North Greenwich, London, SE10 0EJ.
Nearest underground station: North Greenwich.
Bus routes: 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486.

Our modern pottery studio in the heart of London’s Design District in Greenwich welcomes both newcomers and experienced potters, ensuring there is a blend of fresh perspectives and seasoned wisdom. Whether you want to try out the pottery wheel, make your own designs using hand building techniques or attend a pottery painting session, there is something for everyone.
Good Pottery is the second studio by founder, Maritza Masiello.
Following the opening of her first studio in nearby Lee, SE London, she was overwhelmed by the growing pottery community. As demand grew, it was clear there was a need for a second studio. Maritza wanted to find a space which could hold more pottery courses and workshops for beginners and memberships for more experienced potters, as well as a dedicated space for group pottery painting events.
The Design District offers the perfect destination for this new direction, a home for inspiring creatives, and Good Pottery is proud to be part of the community!
