How are the teams organised?
Your group is split into teams of up to 10. Each team plays in its own breakout room with its own host, who shares the game on screen.
Can teams compete against each other?
Yes. A live leaderboard shows how every team is doing, and teams can also choose to help each other through the shared noticeboard.
What if we get stuck?
Every puzzle has a hint, and your host can nudge you in the right direction. Hints cost a few points, so you can choose whether to take one.
Does everyone need to be in the same place?
No. It works for fully remote teams, people in the office and mixed groups, wherever they are.
Can we do it outside Halloween?
Yes. It's a Halloween theme, but it can be booked at any time of year.

- Induction: pass the Department's entrance tests, including a Zener card challenge and the dreaded "Which form?" flowchart
- Site visit: sweep Marlow House for strange readings and catch out witnesses whose stories don't match the security log
- The archive: decode old memos and piece together what the photocopier has been trying to tell you
- Your desk: each team is given a different Department desk with its own lead to crack
- The séance: make contact through the spirit board, if you remember the safe word
- The final report: file the official form explaining who is haunting the building, when, why and where
