What you'll do
Green thumbs at the ready? Good, then you will love this terrarium-making class full of beautiful foliage and tea, coffee, and cake!
Guided by Ade and Emily from Tiny Terra, you will go step-by-step through the process of making a terrarium as you learn how to make a self-sustaining, green wonderland. You'll get plenty of advice for each layer as well as information on the history and purpose of each aspect of this miniature garden.
In this two-and-a-half-hour terrarium class, you will get your hands dirty as you dig into the soil and explore beautiful plant life. Let your creative side flourish as you build your terrarium however you desire. There will be a whole range of plants and hardscape for you to arrange.
You'll also get tips and tricks for ensuring your ecosystem has the healthiest future ahead! So when this green-filled class is over, you have all the plant care tips you need to take your terrarium home and look after it.

Hi, we are Liddy and Adam and we're here to help you all improve your creativity and activity in the Milton Keynes area. Our motto is "Making art and sport fun, healthy, creative and inclusive; regardless of age or ability."
Liddy graduated from Derby University in 2005 after gaining a BA Hons Degree in Illustration. She completed her PGCE before embarking on a 10 year secondary school art teaching career in Bedfordshire and Buckinghmshire. She is currently undetaking a course in the History of Art. Liddy left teaching to start her own business Something Less Boring in 2017 to bring art and sport to a wider audience
Liddy lives in Buckinghamshire delivering art and creative drawing workshops as well as relaxing Sip & Paint evenings. She also produces contemporary abstract art and papercut work, undertaking commissions too.
We run a whole host of different art classes and courses in venues across the area, and can't wait to welcome you for some relaxing, rejuvenating painting, drawing or printmaking. If you're not local, we also offer a selection of remote classes via Zoom. With new offerings added each month, you're sure to find something that speaks to your creative side!
