What you'll do
Whether you're looking for a creative outlet, a place to meet new people, or just fun things to do, join us at The Sun Inn, Hardingstone and try your hand at painting! With sessions running regularly, each one offers something different, from impasto acrylics to wonderful watercolours, letting you build your skills in a laid-back, social environment.
We also supply your first drink to aid the creative process
Hosted by talented artist and teacher Liddy these art classes are a brilliant opportunity to socialise, pick up new skills, and explore your creativity. Gently guided, you'll paint and draw along at your own pace. Don't worry about getting in over your head—these classes are designed with artists of all skill levels in mind, so even if you haven't picked up a paintbrush since school, your teacher will be on hand with as much help and advice as you need.
Once the two-hour session is over, you'll have learned some nifty art skills, as well as creating a gorgeous mini-masterpiece to display with pride. Who knows? It might just be the first of many!

Your teacher
Hi, we are Liddy and Adam and we're here to help you all improve your creativity and activity in the Milton Keynes area. Our motto is "Making art and sport fun, healthy, creative and inclusive; regardless of age or ability."
Liddy graduated from Derby University in 2005 after gaining a BA Hons Degree in Illustration. She completed her PGCE before embarking on a 10 year secondary school art teaching career in Bedfordshire and Buckinghmshire. She is currently undetaking a course in the History of Art. Liddy left teaching to start her own business Something Less Boring in 2017 to bring art and sport to a wider audience
Liddy lives in Buckinghamshire delivering art and creative drawing workshops as well as relaxing Sip & Paint evenings. She also produces contemporary abstract art and papercut work, undertaking commissions too.
We run a whole host of different art classes and courses in venues across the area, and can't wait to welcome you for some relaxing, rejuvenating painting, drawing or printmaking. If you're not local, we also offer a selection of remote classes via Zoom. With new offerings added each month, you're sure to find something that speaks to your creative side!
