Steam Bent Lampshade Making at Home

In this hands-on live online class, you will be crafting wood with steam. It's a really fun craft class as you learn a totally new skill and get to make an eye-catching lampshade.You will receive a crafting kit with all the stuff you need to make your lampshade as well as a virtual class to guide you on how to make it.Your friendly teacher, Charlie, will give you a complete overview of the steam-bending process. He will show you techniques include twisting, splitting, compression straps, jigs, and more. Once you've got the basics down, you will then use these incredible new skills to make your own lampshade. The DIY kit includes locally sourced Ash Dieback for you to use. It's perfect if you want productive things to do at home as you have fun and make a cool furnishing for your house.There will be a 30-minute break halfway through the online class.
