5/5 from Lizzie Ehrman, attended Oct 2026: Great class! Tere was fun and informative and we made delicious churros. Thank you!
5/5 from Connor Rosewell, attended Sep 2026: Tere was an excellent host and teacher; she was incredibly welcoming and informative, making it easy to understand the steps to make some delicious Churros! Having the session take place in an intimate kitchen gives us the confidence we can easily replicate this at home. She was also wonderful conversation and we could have easily carried on speaking long after the class had come to an end. We really enjoyed the experience and will certainly recommend it to all our friends. Thank you for having us, and thanks to Colin his friendly hospitality. All the best!
5/5 from Helen Lukies, attended Sep 2026: This is a great experience - Tere was very welcoming and lots of fun. We loved our two hours on her houseboat learning a new skill and enjoying our homemade churros! Would definitely recommend.
5/5 from Manuel Sanchez, attended Aug 2026: Tere was a wonderful host and prepared the best churros for us. The conversation was lovely and actually would have loved the class was longer to keep speaking and learning about Spanish culture. I would recommend it to everyone.

5/5 from Soha Alterkait, attended Jul 2026: This was so much more than a cooking class. It was an amazing experience with Tere on her beautiful houseboat; cooking together, tasting two types of churros, sharing stories, and celebrating the beauty of cultural exchange.
5/5 from Aaron Walters, attended Jul 2026: I had a fantastic experience at this workshop! Tere taught me how to make traditional choux-like dough completely from scratch. We even used a churrera to ensure the churros came out exactly the right size and shape. What I liked most was her incredible teaching style and her personal story. Instead of just telling me everything, she asked questions throughout to keep me on my toes and truly embed the learning. I also loved hearing about her background and how it led to her current role. I felt a real personal connection to her journey. She is a wonderful teacher, but more importantly, a wonderful person. She showed me the different thicknesses you can make, and taught me the exact oil temperature needed for perfectly crispy, non-greasy churros. She also showed me how to make a delicious chocolate sauce from scratch using authentic chocolate from Spain. She went above and beyond by giving me ideas for my own potential churro business, further recipes, and a list of items to buy to start out at home. An amazing experience with an incredible person. Highly recommend this workshop!!
5/5 from Holly Frost, attended Jul 2026: What a lovely, enjoyable class with a fabulous teacher! Thank you Tere for making our churos and chocolate experience so relaxed and enjoyable, just what we needed.

Tere was a wonderful host, welcoming us onto her beautiful house boat where we made some seriously tasty churros, sipped some cava, and said hello to her beautiful ragdoll cat Tippi. Highly recommend - thanks again Tere!

(Also her cat is gorgeous) The churros we made were brilliant (will never look at churros the same way again! We’re defo gonna give them a try ourselves now, thanks Tere), accompanied by the most luxurious hot chocolate and dulche de leche, pure indulgence! Can’t suggest Tere’s experiences enough!
