Only challenges were that there’s no phone number for the studio online and the postcode given wasn’t the exact location of the studio which made it difficult to find, with no ability to contact someone.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was so chilled and welcoming—it was clear we were in for a treat! The session was incredibly immersive and fun, allowing us to get hands-on and truly explore our creative sides. It felt really therapeutic to slow down, focus, and enjoy the process together. The instructor was so knowledgeable and informative, guiding us through every step with patience and clarity, while still keeping things light and enjoyable. We left with our own beautiful handmade candles and such a sense of achievement—it was genuinely rewarding. I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and calming activity to share with loved ones. Can’t wait to do it again!

It would be nice if she showed more engagement for example explaining which scents work well together etc. The class would benefit from having a range of scents and a wider variety of things to decorate with

It would have been nice to customise the colour of the wax or have a wider variety of flower colours to add to the candle. But overall fantastic experience.

The style of candle we were making was not the same as the images advertised. No issue with that, but it meant I had no frame of reference for what the candles we were going to make could look like. We were told to choose supplies without first being told what they were for and how to use them. When people asked for advice / examples the teacher said she wanted people to use their own creative ideas. I just want to point out this doesn’t work for everyone and I think the teacher should recognise this. The class is open to all and not everyone is going to be an artist or super creative. It impacted my enjoyment of the class not to have some inspiration or guide on how I could make my candle look with the tools we had. When pressed the teacher showed us one photo from her instagram, but even those candles used different supplies. I wasn’t very happy with the way my candle turned out - once I saw what others (more creative people!) had come up with, it was clear to me what I could have done differently. So in summary I think teacher should be more open to people’s learning styles. Examples are not going to hurt the true artists and creatives - they will still come up with their own thing, but for those less blessed in the artistic department and beginners it would be so much more helpful and would have greatly improved my enjoyment of the class.

Everything was provided you literally only have to bring yourself to the class. The tutor will guide you patiently throughout the class so it was a very fun and relaxing one. Would highly recommend it it is 10/10!

The teacher was very knowledgeable and and patient and have us plenty of time to work at our own pace. I would 100% recommend the class to anyone, it was fun and creative and we all really enjoyed it!

All the materials were good, yet we would have liked a larger selection of scents and flowers to add to our candles. We enjoyed learning the skill of candle making. The class vas very good value for money. We liked the finished result of the candles the most.

The venue is lovely, I learnt a lot from the teacher who was laid back and clear and very helpful. I will definitely be back with my new friend for other events.

The teacher was really nice and friendly, and we learned some things about candle making in general (types of wax used, for example), before working on making one ourselves. There were a lot of dried flowers and crystals, ribbons and stickers to choose from for decorating, and lots of essential oils for scenting the candles. Also salts that you could add to your cabdle too. You get to do four different layers of scents, so you get try out a lot of combos. The candle is a nice size, ai think the teacher mentioned it can burn for 60-70 hours. It was a great experience, and we got some cute (and nice smelling) candles out of it. I highly recommend it!
