What you'll do
Perfect to avoid drafts in your home or to give away as a homemade gift, this textiles class will show you how to make a draft excluder to keep cold air out of your warm home. This fun and productive London activity is guided by a local and experienced teacher from Art4Space. You will get full support as you pick up some essential sewing skills and all the techniques you need to create a draft excluder. Our studio is packed full of beautiful fabrics for you to choose from and use in your piece. You will also pick up some basic embroidery stitches too which can be used on even more DIY projects at home. Make the draft excluder for yourself or give it to someone special as a gift! Art4Space is an inclusive, creative and supportive, safe space for you to explore your crafty side. Their welcoming studio is full of materials for you to explore and your teacher can guide you no matter what your skill level.Proceeds go towards our community art projects, providing mental well-being and creative health, especially for those facing barriers.
