The tutor, Penny, was fab and the girls learned a lot from her. Made a booking for 5 for a teenage birthday party activity for her. The coasters and kit made great "going home presents" after the party, so I didn't have to get extra gifts. The girls had fun and were proud of their coasters.
It was a little messy, and I had said to parents that the girls may get dirty so not to wear best clothes, and I'd taken plastic aprons for each of them, but they all still managed to get paint on them. Also, the paint takes 48 hours to dry fully, so you do need to be careful taking the artwork home.

I'd give the teacher 5* as she was very good. However, I've given an overall of 4* rating as the paint provided in the kit did not work well.

I enrolled both my daughter and I in this class, and neither of us were getting particularly good results. The teacher didn't use the same paint as us as she said she'd run out of the one that came with the kit and she was using another. A couple of times she mentioned the brand of paint she was using, so after the class we popped down to Hobbycraft and bought that paint and it worked for us both first time! If she hadn't mentioned about trying other paints we'd have given up on Lino printing thinking it doesn't work for us, so that's why I've marked the overall result down to 4*.

Picture is with the Essdee paint that we purchased as an extra to the kit. This brand of paint was also much easier to clean up the equipment after use.

Loved the class and the teacher was very good. Gave it 4 rather than 5 stars only because it was a lot to get done within the time and so felt a little rushed to try to get the picture finished and would have preferred it to have maybe been one and a half hours rather than just an hour.
Teacher was lovely and gave lots of hints and different techniques so we felt the class was very good value.
I enrolled my daughter as well as myself, and it was good "Mum and daughter" time, and last night we had a go at doing another picture to practice the techniques that we had been shown so we wouldn't forget them and our 2nd attempts were much better (picture posted is one I did in the class)

The teacher was very good and very patient. I loved my kit and how well it was packaged. I look forward to returning to do more classes. Thank you
