Chrissie answered all my questions regarding the right machine for me. She started the session by asking me what I was expecting to use the machine for and the decision was, more or less, made from the beginning.
She certainly knew her stuff! Christie was in her own home surrounded by her beloved cutting machines and she did a comparison of each, providing me with the clarity and guidance I needed to enable me to make the correct buying choices. It's also handy to know that all the Hobbycraft digital cutting supplies can be used in all the machinesso, no need to stick to the branded supplies. I was very impressed, not only with the machines, themselves, but also with the board base of knowledge clearly demonstrated by the passionate artisan Chrissie clearly is. Thank you.

Despite my lack of experience with Zoom, this workshop was very successful for me. After finally working out how to 'unmute' myself I was able to chat quite freely with Louse who explained each stage very clearly and simply; breaking down each stage with a very clear demonstration.
Be aware , when using the pens, you really do have to rethink everything you've been taught. The phito is my first attempt and it does feel like learning to write again. So, Practice, practice, practice is the advice I would pass on to anyone having a goand be patient with yourself. It's a very therapeutic little hobby.
The pens are really nice, they don't bleed on the page as the paper supplied is of excellent quality. I would thoroughly recommend this workshop. A very enjoyable hour, with an experienced artisan who is good at her craft. Thank you.
