It was a well organised class and also quite a large one! You’ll get to select a pottery, smash it, then join it back together via the kintsugi method. The teachers are constantly reminding you the beauty in imperfection (which is the philosophy behind this technique) and tying back to mental wellness, which is a nice touch. It’s relatively straightforward though it teaches you patience because you have to wait 15 mins at a time for each piece to dry. All in all enjoyable and will be a meaningful gift for loved ones.

Pottery class review by Teresa Zhou - London

I had a wonderful time - our instructor was Akiko who was very patient and nice. Two hours whizzed right by! We first watched her throw as she taught us the techniques, then we were given two chances to make something to put what we’ve learnt into practice while she walks around to guide us. Very pleased that I got to make a cup and a bowl with this package. I opted for the top up to have it glazed and shipped to me too. Well worth the money that gives you a good basic intro to pottery/throwing.
