I previously did a class with Gisela (loom weaving) and she was so full of energy and passion for her craft and so approachable (I emailed her after to ask about how to finish off some knots) that I did the macrame plant holder class. I was delighted to see that my discount code worked and I will definitely be using it on another class run by Gisela. I’m hoping that she gets the go ahead to do a macrame necklace class and a needle felting workshop as they sound great. I have a fair amount of experience with macrame but still learnt quite a few new things in her class and she also showed the class how one can fuse the crafts of macrame and loom weaving. Very inspiring!

The teacher was very friendly and I felt I learnt a lot in the class. It was fast moving but I was surprised that I could keep up so was very pleased! Once I’ve had some more practise, I’ll definitely be doing more crochet classes with this teacher.

The teacher was very friendly and engaged in the project. My son, who is seven, was the only child who had registered for the event and she took the time to introduce him to plaiting threads and made a lovely multi strand bracelet for him to take home. My son has been making bracelets with the extra threads we were given. The lady also told us all about the artwork that she paints in acrylic and one of her paintings was on display in the shop. This was very inspiring as my son wants to be an artist when he grows up and he’s extremely creative!
