Holly made the class very interesting and informative as a beginner the pace was slightly too fast for me, but we were sent a copy of the class so I can go over it again.

I was very interested in doing this art class and Emma was really good in explaining how to do the grid. The problem was this class was only one hour, why? Your pet portrait runs for three sessions, this class should be at least two sessions. It took 20 minutes just to draw the grid required so by the time our hour was up we we still on the outline details and hadn’t reached doing the important details like fur. Emma provided links to see how to draw fur but it would have been better to definitely have a week two class.

It was fantastic doing this portrait over three weeks so the tutor could slow things down. I learned a different technique than when I did the Easter bunny drawing, it was interesting how to do different shading. We had two different tutors over the three weeks they were both very good. I’m pleased with my progress as only the second picture I’ve drawn since my school days in the 70’s! I will definitely do more drawing courses with Hobbycraft.

Chrissie was a lovely bubbly person with great knowledge of digital products. She took the time to understand what me needs were in looking at these machines. Chrissie as a crafter knew exactly what would suit my needs perfectly. These machines are brilliant but also not cheap so I didn’t want to make a mistake. I am confident I will now be buying the best machine for me.

Millie was a lovely tutor and the hour didn’t seem rushed at all. As a total novice at drawing I wasn’t expecting a great result but I was drawn to the class as the rabbit looked amazing. I was pleasantly surprised at my effort and what I achieved.

This was my Grandson’s first craft course and he loved it. As a 4 year old he’s quite shy but was chatty asked questions and loved making the spiders. Perrine is a fabulous tutor and was very patient with the children. They all enjoyed the course, my grandson has asked to do more.

This Christmas course was lovely. The advent calendar box was quite rough, I needed to sand it down in places, (some sandpaper in the kit would be useful). Holly was my tutor was was lovely, friendly and very talented. She took me through step by step with lots of hints and tips. Haven’t finished yet but pleased with what I have achieved so far.

Beginners embroidery with Rachel was lovely, Rachel took us step by step through each step and how to create 7 different stitches. The 90 minutes flew by. My only negative is transferring the design does take a fair bit of time.

Rugile was a lovely tutor and explained everything really well. The hour went fast but I managed to produce a reasonable picture for only my second attempt at watercolour, the only minus was I was the only one online so didn't have thoughts and questions from other students saying that I thoroughly enjoyed doing this course and will be booking more.

Isabella our tutor was lovely and really knew her stuff, my problem with the course as a total beginner it went too fast, I couldn’t keep up which was a shame as the finished baubles looked amazing. I have the course notes and Isabella kindly emailed us pictures to help I will persevere in having a go. I’m pleased I tried but this course needs to be longer and probably done in person May help.

Really enjoyed this course. Jade was an excellent tutor who took the trouble to introduce brush lettering at our beginners level which was great, the materials we received are lovely and Jade took us step by step though everything. I’m looking forward to practicing at home and creating lovely Christmas tags and decorations.

It was a lovely workshop our tutor Perrine was great and very helpful. Everything was in the box and we completed within the hour I’m really chuffed how my autumn wreath turned out.
