Hi, I’m Nina Elegba the founder of Recess Living.

I was born with a love of shiny things of a jewellery nature and raised in the hectic, exhilarating UK television industry, which I juggled with running my own jewellery boutique, Magpie on the Run.

I’m now on a mission to minimise the stress and burnout suffered by those in high-pressure roles, especially creative freelancers and business owners, by offering a range of bespoke London craft classes for you and your workmates to enjoy. From getting to grips with the basics of clay in a pottery class to learning the soothing, stress-busting art of marbling, you'll find plenty of ways to spark your imagination, switch off from work and enjoy the rejuvenating power of learning something new.

Nina made me comfortable on arrival. She is very patient teacher. All doubts were cleared. The venue was comfortable. All the materials provided were sufficient and good. I personally liked the colour range that was
available for Marbling process. I learnt the complete process and was able to try some new designs.
I would definitely recommend this class.
