We had a thoroughly enjoyable time in our workshop creating our breakfast sets at Radical Giving in the Needlemakers Lewes. Milly the shop owner welcomed us to the workshop with tea and coffee.
Our teacher Katie was excellent and very enthusiastic. She instructed us well, divulging her knowledge to us throughout the workshop. It is such a wonderful experience to work with an artist.
We were provided with all the materials and tools spending the first hour exploring the medium so that we could design our final product.
The venue was in a lovely setting in a shop in the Needlemakers and that was interesting as well with people coming in and out which we didn’t really notice because we all so involved in our projects.
A great day had by all and we are looking forward to collecting our final pieces.
