Crepe Paper Flower Workshop

Create a small handful of colourful, fun and fantastic crepe paper flowers during this 4 hour workshop. With paper crafter Nicoline Falmer-Nielsen, you’ll learn everything right from the paper and tools, glue onto various ways and techniques of how to shape several flowers and look at how they can combine to create different styles. We will also look at colouring the paper in various ways.All materials are provided to make around 4-5 flowers during the workshop and enough to take home should you wish to make more at home afterwards (most people do!)This is a chance to just enjoy paper crafting, crepe paper flower making is both a very relaxing mindful craft but be warned, also highly additive! It is also a very social able craft so something suitable to do with a friend, mum & daughter etc. After making your first flower, you will see how you are able to let your mind switch off and really connect with the act of creating from your imagination.You will be guided through each part step by step initially and then let loose to be creative once you have worked through 2 flowers to work at your own pace. The flowers made are not botanically correct copies but inspired by nature with a sprinkle of artistic creativity. In addition to plain crepe paper, Nicoline also pre dyes her paper in which she will share with you ideas on how to do this at home.All levels and abilities welcome.
