Mihaly guided us through the process and taught us the basics of how to use the wheel and create a mix of small cups and bowls. We already plan on coming back for another session!

He took me carefully through the basic techniques and to my surprise I was able to create five different pieces! Thank you very much - I really enjoyed it.

Mihaly was an excellent teacher and was very patient with us, showing us step by step how to create four separate pieces of pottery. We can’t wait to see the finished products in a few weeks time once they have been fired.

Mihaly was incredibly patient, friendly, and an all-round fantastic teacher. He was especially great with our sons. By the end of the session, we had each managed to create some lovely pieces (which we honestly didn’t think would be possible when we started!). We’re very excited to collect our glazed pieces in a few weeks. Would 100% recommend. Thank you Mihaly.

Mihaly was excellent in showing us what to do, help correcting our errors and letting us do it ourselves. We made x4 different pieces of ceramics on the wheel. The environment was cosy, calm with relaxing music, making it educational, enjoyable and a relaxing activity. We all loved it and Mihaly has great patience and calmness with us all. We can’t wait to pick up our finished items.

Mihai is lovely, funny and very talented, his work is amazing! He was very hands on with correcting/helping you when needed. I really enjoyed the class and found it very therapeutic and can’t wait to receive our pottery back once glazed as I was really impressed with the end results considering we had never done pottery before. Each person gets to make 4 items each and gets to pick what finish glaze they would like. I would definitely go again, highly recommend if you want to try something new.

Mihaly was really patient and hospitable, and it was lovely meeting his wife Edit too. Definitely recommend this course if you want to try pottery for the first time!

Mihaly was an expert and supportive 'throwing' teacher: he let us have enough free reign to try things out but was always on hand to help us with our (inevitable!) mistakes and we each produced and decorated 4 pieces. It felt great to try something new. A glass of red (very late Valentine's day celebration) and some delicious food in the restaurant (the pancake starter and goulash were our favourites) topped off a really lovely and different Sunday morning/lunch experience. Highly recommended

He really helped us learn how to use our hands to create different shapes, rather than just doing a it for us. Also, I loved that we were able to paint them after, in the same day, as well, and it’s great that you can take all your pieces away, at no extra cost. The studio itself was also really cute and relaxing. This was a gift for my partner on his birthday and Mihaly gave him a delicious cake to enjoy after the class too ◡̈

The materials were great. We learned how to make 4 pieces so we could practice different techniques! We also got to paint our pieces which was a nice bonus! It was definitely good value for money and would recommend!

I like the fact that it was intimate with just 8 of us there so not too crowded. I feel this gave Mihaly a better chance to support us throughout our class... We got to make 4 items and paint them too which was exciting! Mihaly is amazing, lovely and a great teacher! I would defo recommend this place and would definitely go there again as it was a 2hrs well spent for my mothers special day!! Thank you very much Mihaly!!

Mihaly was an excellent teacher, huge amounts of fun - we laughed the whole time. He was patient and kind when we were not naturally gifted and slow to get what the techniques were. We came to make and paint 4 individual items and can’t wait to collect in 2 weeks time!! Thank you Mihaly!
