4 x 2 hours Class size 3 to 6 guests       £120 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

A brand new mini-course on Pattern Drafting for Design & Fit. Hack patterns that don't quite work for you or bring your pattern block from the block courses to develop bespoke patterns for your perfect design!
Bring your personalised block patterns or a commercial pattern that you want to adapt the fit or design of, and I will take you through the steps of making it into the design you're dreaming of.
As a group, we'll look at different techniques like adding pleats or gathers. For trousers we can look at adding a waistband, fly front or pockets. For tops or dresses we can look at princess seams, collars and cuffs etc. The content will be prepared to focus on the group's goals. You'll then apply these techniques to your patterns ready to toile at home or in the studio to make sure they're just right.
A perfect design to focus on might be a pleated trouser with a waistband and pockets, or using your block to make a collared shirt with button stand and cuffs.
Please let me know your preferred goals when booking or in the weeks in advance of the start date so that I can prepare accordingly!
