One-To-One Knitting Workshop

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague in store for a one-to-one and ask any questions you have about Knitting

1 hour Class size 1 on 1       £28

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague in store for a One-to-one and ask any questions you have about Knitting. Stuck on a project? Need help with understanding a pattern? Trying to get to grips with a new stitch? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for complete beginners as well as new Knitters looking for that next step on, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need. It’s a great way to gain confidence with your craft, troubleshoot any problems you’re having with your current project in an easy, direct way or learn about stitches you’re not as confident with yet.

During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Artisan know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.

You’re sure to walk away a knitting pro, ready to take your designs to a new level!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 5/5 from Reem El-Heis, attended Jun 2025: Gareth was an absolute gem! He was had a lot of patience and explained everything throughly. He took his time walking me through different stitches and allowed me the time to practice. Not only did I learn so much, I also had a lovely time learning. Would definitely recommend - amazing!
  • 5/5 from Sarah Saull, attended Feb 2024: Nadia was brilliant and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I haven't knitted for a long time and only simple scarves but after having a baby I decided I wanted to knit him a little jumper. Nadia went through the pattern with me, helping me to understand the more complicated parts and I can't wait to cracking! Thanks Nadia!

  • 5/5 from Afifa Tippu, attended Oct 2023: Nadia was very patient teacher and provided clear instructions. The material provided was good, it would have been helpful to have written instructions with the beginners box provided. Certainly will come back for a one to one lesson with nadia.
