One-to-one Cricut Workshop

Join us in store and talk to a craft expert for tips and advice on your Cricut machine or project!

1 hour Class size 1 on 1       £28

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague one-to-one and ask any questions you have about your Cricut machine! Stuck on a project? Need help with Design Space? Trying to get to grips with using a new material? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for all Cricut users, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need about your machine. Whether you’re crafting with a Maker, a Joy, Joy Xtra or an Explore machine, you’ll be able to get excellent insight for all kinds of projects. It’s a great way to get a feel for your new machine or learn about features you’re not as confident with yet.
During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Hobbycraft Colleague know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.
You’re sure to walk away a Cricut crafting pro, ready to start making your next big project!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Please note: If you would like to discuss the Foil Transfer Tool, Knife Blade, “Print Then Cut” feature, “Curved Text” feature or “Offset” we would recommend that you book on to one of our online one-to-one Cricut workshop sessions as we are currently unable to demonstrate these features in-store due to them being for the desktop version of Design Space only.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

The demonstration for making my own designs. Great teacher amazing session. I will definitely book future classes with hobby craft.
  • 5/5 from Erjona Krasniqi, attended Jan 2026: Valeria was an amazing teacher during my one-to-one Cricut workshop. She explained everything clearly and patiently, helping me understand how to use the Cricut machine step by step. I felt completely supported throughout the session, and she made the whole experience fun and creative. I especially loved how she tailored the workshop to my interests and made sure I felt confident using the machine by the end. Highly recommend Valeria to anyone looking to learn Cricut!
  • 5/5 from Zahida Butt, attended Jan 2026: Very informative and interesting workshop. Valerija helped me with all questions. Thank you so much
  • 5/5 from Florence Mafolabomi, attended Nov 2025: The craft workshop was excellent. It offered valuable insights, hands on instruction, and creative ideas that helped me better understand the techniques and what to do next. I really appreciated how clear and engaging the session was.
  • 5/5 from Lesley Finlayson, attended Nov 2025: My children bought me a cricket joy last Christmas. I am not IT literate so it stayed in the box. September my daughter bought me this class. Neither of us was able to book the class online so we went insure. Even the lovely assistant couldn’t book it. So she had to call customer support. I have so say he was very rude to the both of us! On the day the lady taking the class was very patient with me. She gave me all the time and support I needed. She did not rush and spent extra time explaining to me. She gets bombarded with customers enquiring about products. It might be an idea to deploy a member of. Staff upstairs when she has a student. She even said I can pop in any time if I need advice. How great is she.
  • 5/5 from Marva Holder, attended Oct 2025: Cheryl was fantastic and was able to guide me on how to use my Cricut machine and Design Space on my mobile. I was able to come home and practice and achieve what she taught me. Absolutely brilliant workshop.

  • 5/5 from Lesley Hooper, attended Jan 2025: This is the second class I have had with Donna. She makes you feel at ease and no question is left unanswered no matter how silly you may think it is. I could not get my head around design space in cricut and being of the elder generation sometimes makes things harder. I now feel confident that I know where I'm going. I will be booking another course for working with acrylics and would recommend to beginners.

I really appreciated how Donna explained everything clearly and took the time to answer all my questions. By the end of the class, I felt much more confident and inspired with a list of new projects I’m excited to start. Overall, Donna is such a kind and patient person, and I loved how she made everything easy to understand.
