Discover the wonderful art of needle felting at this fun and friendly craft class and learn how to create wonderful pictures or cute animals.
During this class, your talented teacher, Barbara, will share with you her wide range of tips and techniques as you learn step-by-step how to make your cute felt bird, owl, mouse, penguin or hedgehog (or another animal) or even create a lovely landscape if animals are not your thing.
To begin, you will create a 3-dimensional form from wool fibres using a special barbed needle before using a stabbing action into the fluffy fibres to knit the fibres together and sculpt them.
Once you have learned the basic techniques during this half-day craft class you can then advance onto more complex creations such as hares, dogs and cats.
You're sure to be hooked on this fun and addictive craft and will head home with an adorable handmade needle-felt animal to call your own.
Time: 10am - 12.30pm
